Joe’s Bio
Joe Crisara is an author, information specialist and entrepreneur consultant and has
lived in the Chicago, IL area for the past 46 years. His wide range of past experiences has
given him a unique view of the HVAC & plumbing industry.
His past experience includes starting his own heating, cooling & plumbing service company
which he owned for 15 years. During his time spent owning the business, he had engineered
and designed the company to operate as a “turn key” opportunity. He sold the business
in spring of 2001 and now has chosen to pursue his passion for finding “best practices”
in the HVAC and plumbing business and sharing these ideas with others in hope that they
could implement them while avoiding the mistakes that can happen when these changes take
place.
Joe, an experienced service HVAC & plumbing technician himself, has taught hundreds
of technicians at local community colleges, and for the Refrigeration Service Engineers
Society (RSES) and has earned the status of CM (Certificate Member) through them. Joe’s
company has won the Chicago “RSES Contractor of the Year” award for excellence in training
his service technicians.
He has also served two terms as president of the Lake County, IL
Heating & Cooling Contractors Association.
He has learned “best practices” from many business and HVAC/P industry leaders. His general management and business philosophy has been sculpted from training he has received
by people that read like a who’s who of business & HVAC best practices. The following
list are just some of those people whose influence you will see in his material:
